Ikenotaira Onsen

Ikenotaira Onsen is a welcoming, family-oriented ski resort in the Myoko area of Niigata Prefecture. With 10 courses across a 520-meter vertical drop (580m to 1,100m) and 7 lifts, the resort is known for its wide, gentle slopes that make it ideal for beginners and families with children. The resort benefits from the Myoko area's generous snowfall, averaging around 1,100cm annually.

The resort features one of the widest main slopes in the Myoko area, providing ample space for learners to practice turns without feeling crowded. Night skiing is available, adding value for those staying in the nearby onsen village. The hot spring facilities in the Ikenotaira area offer a relaxing apres-ski experience.
